Love your god. love your neighbor.

Love your tech?? Living the life of love in a digital world.

The apostle Paul exhorts us to “Let everything you do, be done in love” (I Corinthians 16:14). What does that mean in a world where communication, work, even recreational time are increasingly dominated by digital media and platforms? How do we (mothers, daughters, grandmothers, students) show that a Christian loves God first, loves our neighbor, and uses these diverse resources in ways that reflect our love for God and each other. Following some of the material addressed in Look Up From Your Phone So I Can Love You, an interactive book for families, we will examine how Christians show this love through the challenges and blessings of this digital world.

My Story

As a pastor’s wife, we began ministry in North Mankato, MN, spent fourteen years in Tampa, FL, and recently moved to WI. We have been blessed with four wonderful children. In the years I've taught, I have mostly taught a combination of middle grades. I was blessed with the opportunity to write a book entitled Look Up From Your Phone So I Can Love You (NPH), an interactive journal to help parents and their children navigate the digital world together. I currently teach 5th grade at St. Matthew’s Lutheran School in Oconomowoc, WI.
