Journaling 101

You'll leave with some tips and tricks on how to get the most out of your journaling and how it can allow for a deeper connection with the Word of God. I hope you will also leave with a knowledge of what journaling is and some of the many benefits that it can have. We know that not only does it provide benefits to our knowledge and understanding but our mental health as well. As we reflect on doing everything we do in love let's learn how having a deeper understanding of the Word can show love to ourselves and those around us!

My Story

Hello, my name is Hayli Littlehead. I grew up in La Crosse, WI and attended Christ Lutheran grade school then Luther High School. After attending Luther I went on to major in Music and Psychology at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN. I graduated with my double major in 2019 and began my Masters program at Minnesota State University - Mankato in Mental Health Counseling. I graduated with my Masters in 2021. Throughout my Masters I worked as a Children's Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS) Skills worker with Christian Family Solutions and a Mental Health Counselor Masters Trainee. Since my graduation in 2021 I have held positions as a Mental Health Counselor and Victim Services Advocate. I have been trained in Grief Recovery, Systematic Family Therapy, and Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy (IPSRT).

Hayli also serves as one of the WELS Coulee Women’s Retreat Planning Committee members, and we are honored to have her walk us through this hands-on activity.
